What is A Virtual Law Office?

Nobleheart Legal operates as a virtual law office. That means, for the majority of clients, all meetings, conversations, paperwork, and other activities can be conducted online. Unless it’s required, there is usually no need to meet in person. Furthermore, Nobleheart Legal does not have a traditional brick-and-mortar office space.

This means a safer experience for you, less time spent driving across town to our office, and ultimately cost savings to clients.

Why a Virtual Estate Planning practice?

Virtual meetings are a safe, convenient, and cost-effective way to work with your lawyer. We care about your time, comfort level in meeting others during COVID-19, and how much is spent on your Estate Planning. Even though we only serve Minnesota clients, Nobleheart Legal still operates virtually.

Since COVID-19 has vastly changed the way we live our lives, and it may not change much in the coming months, we want people to feel comfortable meeting with their lawyer. A side effect of COVID-19 is that people have skipped doctor’s appointments, church, and other essential activities. We do not want people to neglect important things because they are worried about going out. Virtual meetings solve that problem through web-based technology. Everything is a snap with our services.

We also value your time. You do not have to drive across town to our office to meet with your attorney. By leveraging technology, we conduct web-based meetings with Microsoft Teams. It also allows us to serve areas outside the Twin Cities, giving clients more options in choosing their lawyer. Also, you can meet with your lawyer in your PJs! Although, rest assured, your lawyer will be appropriately dressed for your meeting.

The final reason we do virtual is that it saves you money. We chose to invest in technology instead of paying high rent at an office park. We pass those savings onto our clients while providing superior service.

How do we meet with our lawyer?

We use Microsoft Teams to meet with our clients online. You can either download the Microsoft Teams app on your computer or simply used the web-based option to join your meeting. Not tech-savvy? We can also do a traditional phone call if you prefer. However, it’s awesome to put a face to a name instead of guessing what everyone looks like.

Appointments are scheduled online, no need to speak to someone about your meeting. Simply contact us through the web portal, and you will receive an e-mail link to the online scheduler. Pick a time that works for you, and BAM, a meeting happens!

How do we execute important documents?

One big question for attorneys during COVID-19 execute documents that require witnesses and a notary. While virtual signings can happen at times, it may not be the best route for everyone. Nobleheart Legal will provide clients with detailed instructions on how to execute their estate planning documents, including how to have them notarized and witnessed.

How do I access our case files?

Nobleheart Legal uses an online web portal to operate most of its client interactions. With the client portal, you can view and download all your case documents, sign important documents, message your attorney, and pay your bill. All your files are stored in the cloud on a secure server.

We still communicate through traditional e-mail service, but the portal is a great way to keep things well managed and organized.

What if I do not have a scanner/printer?

We can work with that; printers are annoying anyway. There are several options to print and scan your documents for upload. From local office supply stores or smartphone apps, there is always an option for you. Since we keep up with the latest tech, we can let you know which options are available. If all else fails, you can snail-mail your documents to our mailing address.

Tell me about your process!

Just fill out the contact form online with your basic information, and an attorney will send a reply within 24 hours. The message will contain a link to an online scheduling system with the attorney’s availability.

Once you have scheduled your meeting, you will receive an invite to the virtual meeting room. This will be your initial consultation. Here, we learn about you and your situation to see if an Estate Plan is right for you. We will collect some basic information from you to start your plan.

From there, it changes based on the client. Our work is done with you in mind!
